My sister Edith (Aron) and me
I will never forget the day when we arrived to Auschwitz. We were separated from our family; they were taken, killed, and put in the crematorium. We never saw them again.
During our three months in Auschwitz, Dr. Mengele tried to separate my sister from me, but by some miracle, we stayed together and survived together. We walked from Aschersleben labor camp to Theriesenstadt in the death march. If you couldn’t walk anymore, they shot you. This is just a little bit about what I went through at the age of 14.
