After the war when Noemi was 15 years old, she and her sister returned to Budapest looking for work.  They found jobs working in the kitchen of an orphanage where Noemi met her husband who was a teacher there.  They married when Noemi was 16 years old and were married for 74 years.  
Where did you go after being liberated?
Family went back to their home which had been occupied by Russian soldiers. The soldiers allowed them one room in the home, the kitchen, which they all lived in.

November, 1952

An aunt lived in Detroit
